PRINCE NAGAYA

Prince Nagaya
– The Golden Sake Lost to Time

A 1,300-year-old recipe, revived with the latest technology

Introduction

A favorite of the Japanese imperial family and aristocracy of the 8th century, this utterly unique sake was lost to the sands of time.
1,300 years later, we have succeeded in recreating those ancient brewing methods to bring the sake of Prince Nagaya into the present day.

Tasting Notes

With its sweet, slightly acidic taste, rich aroma, and golden color, Prince Nagaya is more like a botrytized wine than a standard Japanese sake.
Enjoy it at room temperature, chilled, over ice, or paired with any number of dishes from around the world.

Prince Nagaya therefore goes especially well with meat, foie gras, smoked fish, cheese, and desserts.
